Hey guys!
It’s Saturday night and Jason and I are chillaxin (<–nerd) at the house). We have had a great day filled with yummy eats, so I thought I’d share
Last night we went to the Bad Fish concert, it was pretty great! I had a Bud Light and half of a screwdriver before calling it a night. (Left my camera in my car
I didn’t want to carry my purse in, so I only took necessities: chapstick and my liscence) There were a TON of people there (and most of them were wearing plaid, I’m assuming it’s the “in” thing this season!). There was crowd-surfing, a small mosh pit and beer bottles all over the floor
Fun times, fun times.
This morning I woke up and took Trixie on a small walk around the neighborhood in my jammies haha. Then came back and made Jas and I a big ol’ pot of pumpkin oats!

In this bowl:
- 1/3 cup of canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- dash of salt/cinnamon
- Stonyfield Banilla yogurt
- pb/raisins/muesili (dry) sprinkled on top
Nom nom nom. ‘Twas good
After my food settled, I tuned into Food Network and started my quickie strength training workout (I love watching Food Network while I workout!!! Do you guys have a certain channel you tune into during workouts??) Here is what I did:
- 3 sets of Supermans held for 30 seconds each
- 3×15 overhead military shoulder press
- 3×10 bicep curls
- 4×15 push ups
- 3×12 low hammer curls
It was then time for me to get ready to meet my mommy!

We met at Cramerton Deli, also known as H&M Deli. I ordered the Meditteranean Salad: mixed greens, boiled egg, feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, roasted red peppers, black olives and red onion. 4 Captain Wafters on top along with Raspberry Vinagerette Dressing! Yes, it IS as good as it looks! The flavors in this salad are a-mazing!!!!!!

I ate every bite
Except for the olives, blegh
Jas and I then went back for dessert:

A chocolate chip cookie!
We stayed around the area for a couple of hours and walked Trixie through my old neighborhood.

My stepdad has been diagnosed with Diabetes, so I gave her some info on that (thank goodness for school material!). All in all, it was a nice, relaxing afternoon and we were pretty shocked when we looked at the clock and saw that it was almost 5!! Yikes! We hugged goodbye and went our seperate ways.
My mom: home. Jas and I: Best Buy! To gettttttt………(drum roll please)…………………

GUITAR HERO SON! WHAT WHAT!! Haha
Of course, Jason started acting like a kid at Christmas and wanted to rush home so he could set it up and tinker around with it
But, I wanted to play too! So I made him wait until I cooked dinner and did the dishes, lol. Seeing as how we were both in a hurry to rock out, I made a quick dinner of Penne Pasta with Roasted Veggies and Goat Cheese. Yummo!

With buttery toast on the side. Who says you can’t have bread with pasta?! Hmmm, I think this was consumed in about 2 seconds minutes flat (out of pure excitement of course!). It. was. time.
Jason went first:

Please notice how in the second pic, he is on the edge of the couch lol. It was pretty intense stuff I tell ya:D Meanwhile….
……I got a beer outta the fridge!

Drank half and then it was my turn! Woot woot. Well, in order to play well, you gotta hold the guitar the right way LMAO.

I quickly switched when Jason pointed out what an idiot I was, haha

Then it was ON.

I was doing terrible when this picture was taken! They were boo-ing me off stage! (That’s my “I’m-trying-to-keep-up” grin). I’m getting better as I get more practice, but of course Jason is a natural!
He just called: “Baby when you gonna come play again?” Guess I better get back in there and show him how it’s done
Toot-a-loo bloggies! Love ya

Don’t you feel like you did your good deed for the day now? By the way, I had the same exact thing for dinner, just substitute the goat cheese for parmesean!
Hahaha, we have Rock Band and its so fun! I love it – you’re going to be obsessed.
Glad you’re having a great weekend!

hahaha, I LOVE those pictures! Priceless!
ha, guitar hero. have fun with that. i never could get into those games. or maybe, subconciously, i stayed away from them to prevent a very time consuming addiction (like triathlon? i only need 1).
